A note about not stressing out as I progress in David Mitchell’s The Bone Clocks. As with Ghostwritten and Cloud Atlas, I have discovered that if I just stop trying to figure stuff out, I do better. Trying to keep track of characters as The Bone Clocks goes on, is difficult - not to mention trying to keep track of what’s going on.

The key for me is: Just flow with it, knowing that at some point it will all make sense. Mitchell writes fabulously complicated novels with intricate sub sub sub plots, tributaries of tributaries, mazes, and labyrinths. I love it, it draws me in. And I can’t wait to get to the next plot twist, new character, or in today’s case a new character who was a different person before he was murdered.
